This book captures the essence of the Survival Skills and Techniques acquired and refined during Barry's SAS career, during which he was awarded teh BEM for his part in the totally successful rescue operation in the 1977 Mogadishu Hijack.
Co-author Phil Beynon flew with the RAF as a Navigator / Air Bomber during World War II, operating over Souther Europe. His experience, writing skills and knowledge of natural history have been combined with Barry's expertise to present in detail those skills and knowledge essential to Survival.
