EOD 101 ENGINEER REGIMENT BRITISH MILITARY WATCH
Brushed stainless steel case with black leather band. Matt Black military dial with clear white Arabic numerals. White minute markers marked every five seconds with numbers up to 60. Luminous hands and hour markers 1 to 11 with 12 being marked by British military broad arrow. Red seconds hand and 3 O'clock date window. Dial is marked "EOD ROYAL ENGINEER REGIMENT - ANTI-MAGNETIC" and has British military broad arrow and EOD logo. Case back is marked "EXPLOSIVE ORDINANCE DISPOSAL - 101 ROYAL ENGINEER REGIMENT". The case back also has the "101 EOD logo" stamped in the center. The glass is a thick domed mineral glass and the watch is fitted with a waterproof crown and screw down case back. 3ATM water resistant. Heavy black leather band features a brushed stainless steel clasp that is also stamped with British military broad arrow. Quality quartz movement made by the renown Japanese manufacturer Citizen under special commission for the British military. Case measures approximately 42mm. Ministry of Defense inspection and acceptance seal adorns the packaging. NEW.

This is the best value I have seen in a new larger military-style quartz date watch, and IMS-PLUS is the best vendor of it.
The photo doesn't do justice to the size -- there is no visual indication that it is larger than the traditional (rather small by today's standards) mil style. Also invisble is the slight doming of the outer crystal surface. I have not verified the movement, but if it truly uses the Miyota (Citizen) 2115 as suggested elsewhere, then it is not only highy reliable but also highly serviceable. Either way, the quick-set date and hacking features (the stem has 2 positions: the first to change the date without affecting the time, the second to set the time and freeze the second hand for precise synchronization) help make this watch the outstanding value that it is. My only wish is that there was lume (phosphorescence) on the dial, not just the hands. While it completely lacks manufacturer or origin markings and includes only a reduced photocopied sales blurb, it does come in a cool little cardboard box (made in Massachusetts!?) fully sealed with adhesive brown paper and stamped (see photo background).
