GI ISSUE "STEEL POT" HELMET. Genuine GI issue steel helmet comes complete with high impact plastic liner, woodland camouflage cover, sweatband, and chin strap. USED EXCELLENT CONDITION. Note: The "steel" shell of the helmet is made from manganese steel and is non-magnetic which reduced the chance of error readings when placed around certain sensitive equipment (like a compass).

These are good helmets, if you get one in decent shape. Regardless of what the old timers say, do not cook or boil water in them! It breaks down the steel and bullistic capeabilities. Otherwise it's a good defense against head injury!

Helmet came in great shape for the age! The Camo is a little worn, But the helmet itself is in great shape with no dents.

Very good helmet if you're looking for something inexpensive and functional for whatever purpose you may have for it. The camouflage cover was somewhat worn but the helmet itself had no dents whatsoever.
